895.00 Supercharger

Initial round of offering:
Fully functional and assembled Supercharger, complete with warranty, as seen in the pictures Introductory priced for 895.00 shipped to your door anywhere in the continental USA, if its anywhere else you pay and customs and all that is something we can work out.

If you know anything about Superchargers you know the retail cost far exceeds the 895.00 even when just buying the supercharger.

If that’s still to much for, well I am sure you can find a used unit cheap enough and as an added bonus you get any unknowns and problems associated with that unit.

In addition to selling the unit here is what you are getting:

  • Tech support. Yes we will help!
  • Assistance as need with locating and setting up a different external pulley should you wish to use something other than a 6 RIB Pulley.
  • If you wish we can supply a different pulley for an additional cost.
  • System configured to provide a maximum boost of 5-6 PSI, boost is dictated by crank pulley vs. SC pulley ratio.

You should consult us before increasing boost beyond the as supplied configuration for 6 PSI. Increasing the unit beyond its as supplied Max Boost will void your warranty. If you want more boost then talk to us, we can purpose build a unit for your application. We can discuss the details of this kind of custom unit.

You will need to supply your own Crank Pulley Belt, you can use a 5 ribbed belt with the supplied six rib pulley, so for you serpentine belt guys and girls, that makes it easy.

My Recommendation: is to run a serpentine belt that drives the A/C, ALT ETC and SC for most applications.

I would recommend you install a Tensioner Pulley, but its up to you. You can make it work anyway you want. Spring Tensioners are cheap, easily found new or used, in the case of used, you typically can find one on any serpentine equipped car. Such as your car if so equipped, go to your local bone/junk yard and pull one off a “retired” version of your car.

As I said this is a DIY kit, with assembled supercharger and just the basics to get you going.

Our Setup uses high-tech modern T-series turbocharger compressor wheel and modern compressor housings for ultra-high efficiency. Not some design from the 60's or 70's.

You get a CNC Machined Transmission case made from 6016-t6 aircraft aluminum, drive shaft, compressor shaft, 6-rib drive pulley, internal drive assembly, etc all assembled and ready to go. You just have to build the mounts and connect it to your car.

Our unit is much smaller than the typical centrifugal units. Most cars can mount these where the larger ones simply can’t fit.

If you want boost and have limited space, like most FWD cars, this unit is for you, it is purpose built to support smaller displacement engines, under 5 liters.

Some housings and wheels will be slightly different than shown in the photos. Keep in mind Pictures are of various units. We are currently selling only the BASE C9 Mach I.

The Mach III and Mach X Shown are not currently available for retail sales. We welcome inquires.

What you see are some of the various different styles we have. We are committed to innovation, the design may change and improve, but the PERFORMANCE will only increase.

OPTIONS:

Additional Fuel Injector Setup - low tech solution:
Includes a 5th injector setup to provide additional fuel, this will be the injector, a manifold pressure switch and a “T” fitting to allow you to tap into your fuel supply and install injector.

Alcohol and Water Injection setup. Actual Mix is up to you, comes complete with injector, pump, lines and tank. As well as a manifold pressure switch for control/activation.

Intercooler, at 5-6 PSI this is a waste of time in our opinion. You get better cooling from addtional fuel and/or Water Injection. However, we can supply reconditioned or new intercoolers. We favor assisted IC setups. Whats an Assisted IC?

Assisted IC -- cooling supplemented by means of additional outside source.

  • Fan
  • Water Spray
  • Compressed AIR - Air Curtain, Vortex Tube, etc
  • CO2 Sprayer
  • Nitrous Sprayer

We can supply you a complete kit. We can also supply Water to Air IC setups.

C9 MACH III

So here we have pics of another C9, some differences in the transmission case - it is a CNC assembly as opposed to the earlier WaterJet Cut setup.

Features an even more compact transmission case. Setup uses high-tech modern T-series turbocharger compressor wheel and modern compressor housings for ultra-high efficiency. Not some design from the 60's or 70's. Ever Look at the evolution and development of those "other" superchargers. Their isn't much that has changed, some have, but only slightly.

DYNO

Here are some initial Dyno runs on our test mule a previously naturally aspirated 944, featuring a 2.5 liter inline 4.

Some belt slippage, with no tensioner installed using standard ribbed belt setup. Fuel delivery was not perfect, tended to be rich, timing slightly off. All easily corrected.

This 944 was not 100% Stock, previous Dyno for it without unit was 143HP at wheels. Compared to most stock 944 coming in at 128-132HP at the wheels.

Home Brewed Supercharger

Welcome!

How did we get here... and why are you here?

Well for us among many other things, we have played with all manner of boost. Not to mention modifying even the source of boost, port and polish a supercharger anyone?

We have played with; Turbochargers, Compressed Air, Various Superchargers, Twin Charged Hybrid setups, We love boost after all.




When It comes to superchargers, well we love them. Roots, Screw, centrifugal, if it makes boost, we love it! We aren't partial, we are more, use what you got or can get when it comes to making boost. But that's the problem, have you priced a supercharger lately? We didn't like the price of those "other superchargers" you see on the market.

We didn't like the fact that there are no purpose built small displacement superchargers available. Oh sure you can get a supercharger from one of those others, but its typically huge, oversized for your application and not at all reasonably priced for what you get.

Think about it! If you spend $4 -5K for a "complete kit" or more, what are you getting? Even if you accept paying 1500-2k for the supercharger new, what are you getting for the rest of your money? Hey if that makes you happy and all warm and fuzzy, who are we to turn you away, charge on and enjoy.

In our case, we like our money as much as we like our cars, we wanted something that we could do for ourselves and the masses. The later was an after thought. We didn't set out to go into business, we set out to build a ourselves a bullet proof source of boost.

We wanted quality, durability, reliability and something we could sneak past the wife in the cost department. So we built it, We tested it, we like it, we love it, we wanted more of it! Then again we are Techno Gear Head Boost freaks and we use those terms loosely. Its rather hard to define are particular afflictions... We call it a mad quest for more power.

If it has an engine... their is always a way to get more out it, lawn mower, Jet Ski, ATV, Car, Truck, Boat, Plane, RV, Electric scooter... doesn't matter.

So the thought dawned on us, if we build some, sell them at enough to cover our costs and time, we can keep adding to our cars and keep the boss (read wife) happy. We don't have to get rich, we do this part time, we enjoy doing it, we like the idea of spreading the addiction. It's not all we do or will do, but as one thing pays for another we just keep going.

We are just your average backyard and garage home brewing boost addicted madmen. We have skills, knowledge, experience and most important a propensity for innovation bordering on madness.........hahaha.
